From Circuit Bending to Creative Commerce
Glitch Goods was founded in 2019 by Marcus Chen, a former software engineer turned visual artist. What began as a weekend hobby—experimenting with circuit-bent video gear and corrupted image files—quickly evolved into a full-fledged creative studio and boutique.
Marcus saw poetry in pixelation, rhythm in random noise, and narrative in corrupted data streams. He started selling prints at Portland's Saturday Market, and within a year, Glitch Goods had outgrown the pop-up tent and moved into its permanent studio on Hawthorne Boulevard.
Today, our small team of four collaborates with independent digital artists worldwide to bring you limited-edition pieces that celebrate imperfection in an increasingly polished world.

Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is glitch art?
Glitch art is a visual art form that embraces digital or analog errors for aesthetic purposes. Artists intentionally corrupt data, manipulate codecs, bend circuits, or exploit software bugs to produce unpredictable and often stunning visual results. At Glitch Goods, our prints capture these ephemeral moments of digital chaos in permanent, high-quality form.
How are your prints produced?
All Glitch Goods prints are produced using giclée printing on archival-grade, acid-free cotton rag paper. We partner with a local print shop in Portland to ensure color accuracy and longevity. Each print is hand-inspected before shipping and comes with a certificate of authenticity for limited-edition runs.
What's your shipping policy?
We ship to all 50 US states and select international destinations. Standard domestic shipping takes 3–7 business days. Prints are shipped flat in rigid mailers; apparel is shipped in compostable poly bags. Orders over $75 qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous US.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes. We offer a 30-day return window for unworn apparel and undamaged prints. Return shipping is on us for exchanges. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the return. Retro-tech accessories, due to their one-of-a-kind nature, are final sale unless they arrive damaged.
Do you take custom commissions?
We do! Marcus and our resident artists are available for select custom glitch art commissions. Whether you want a personalized datamosh portrait or a custom design for an apparel run, reach out at [email protected] with your idea and we'll discuss scope, timeline, and pricing.
